Job Summary:
The Inside Sales Representative will report to the Senior Manager of Inside Sales and is critical to the front end of the Aeris sales process. The roles primary responsibility is to qualify, develop and contract new logos through prospecting and executing sales strategies, designed to drive revenue, secure growth and eventually increase market position (in both existing and new target markets). The Inside Sales Rep is a target driven, aggressive individual contributor, focused on consistent over achievement.
The ideal candidate for this role is also naturally curious and must be adept at pivoting, overcoming obstacles and negotiation.
The Inside Sales Representative is responsible for continual pipeline growth and management and will be measured on their ability to consistently progress opportunities through the various stages of the funnel to closure.
The Inside Sales Representative works collaboratively with Sales, Customer Support and Market Research departments.
Responsibilities:
- Close, new contracts with new accounts based upon specified range of deal size
- Proactive self-generation of prospects through research, networking, social media, etc.
- 50+ calls daily to U.S. markets (note: this role must work U.S. hours).
- Activities include connecting with prospects through social media, maintaining email campaigns and reporting on progress
- Ability to identify and build relationships with key contacts and decision makers within prospected companies
- Complex technical, solution-based sales approach to sign new accounts and close new business
- High level selling skills including: technical product- based positioning, objection handling and contract negotiation.
- Exude an in-depth understanding of company offerings
- Continuously grow, develop and manage sales pipeline
- Strategic planning and targeting of new markets and prospects
- Monitor contracts closed and renew expiring contracts.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
- 2+ years inside sales experience making outbound calls
- IoT or Technology Sales experience a plus
- Experience working with U.S. market is required. The requirement is to work in U.S. working hours
- Possess a technical aptitude and quickly be able to learn and understand the wireless communications and Internet sectors
- Excellent verbal and written presentation skills Excellent analytical, problem-solving, negotiation and decision-making skills
- Coachable with the ability to learn and master the high level of sales acumen required to sell in a competitive and complex technology environment
- Knowledge of Salesforce CRM, reporting and funnel management methodologies, as well as, prospecting tools such as ZoomInfo and LinkedIn Sales Navigator
