We are looking for a Key Account Manager, located in the London area. In this impactful role, you will lead our automotive customer relationships for new and existing business on AMS. . You will make a direct impact on the direction of our company when it comes to the exciting connected vehicle space. Are you ready for the challenge?
The right candidate must have a “go for it” attitude, excellent communication skills, a strong and fresh technical background and understand the automotive connected services industry. You will be interacting with customers and partners at a functional and executive level. In this role, you will drive overall alignment between all Aeris departments and the customer. You are a proven and exceptional team player and intellectually curious, looking for cross-functional opportunities. You are an excellent leader of virtual teams. You’ll have experience working remotely with a track record of successfully gaining acceptance and being a strategic contributor despite the distance.

Responsibilities / Accountability:
- Determines drivers' and OEM's needs and desires
- Understand the competition and other global connected car offerings
- Crisply identify unique selling points and key value propositions
- Work directly with OEMs to manage legal issues including contracts
- Provides information for management by preparing short-term and long-term sales forecasts, reports and analyses
- Helps manage overall program profitability between Aeris and OEM customers
- Strong presentation and speaking skills
- Maintains professional and technical knowledge by attending meet ups, conferences, workshops, staying abreast of innovations, establishing personal networks; participating in professional societies.
- Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed
Qualifications:
- Bachelor / master degree in a business related discipline or engineering, MBA a plus
- 10+ years' experience, at least 5 years of automotive connected vehicle experience with OEM or Tier 1 supplier
- Experience with embedded products and hardware, OTA implementations, as-a-Service delivery, LTE, GSM, Wi-Fi, and working with service providers/operators and hardware vendors
- A passion for excellent customer service
- A desire to take charge and lead
- A "roll up the sleeves" attitude with a startup spirit
- Very strong written communication skills
- Team player with excellent people and management skills to interact with staff, colleagues and cross-functional teams, and third parties
- Willing to travel 50%
